SCALP CARE
Ladies, please shampoo your hair regularly. Improper or irregular cleansing allows a breeding place for disease causing bacteria and can lead to scalp disorders and hair loss. Water alone cannot attack and dissolve oil. Together we can curate a combination of shampoos based on your hair condition, porosity, and visible scalp condition to properly cleanse.
HYDRATION
Hydration comes from water and conditioning treatments to seal in moisture. The condition of your hair is determined by two things: Porosity and Elasticity. Porosity is simply how easy it is for your hair to absorb water. Low porosity hair is water-resistant and has a harder time absorbing moisture. High porosity hair can easily absorb moisture but has trouble holding on to it. Elasticity also referred to as resiliency, is the hair ability to stretch and return to its original shape.
NOURISHING
Understanding the structure of hair allows us to be intentional during the healing process. Our hair is comprised of 97% keratin protein and 3% trace minerals. Protein conditioners are required when you're experiencing limp, damaged, and lifeless hair. Together let's create a treatment plan to fortify the damaged areas of your hair, and protect it against further damage.
LENGTH RETENTION
Consistent haircut maintenance to maintain your ends is the key to retaining length. Split ends begin with a crack in the outer layer of the hair and deepens into the center. Eventually the hair is split entirely. Split ends can be temporarily sealed with protein conditioners. This process must be repeated frequently to keep the splits closed; promoting length retention.
